Why have we created Alltrue?

We want to assist and encourage all those who are genuinely seeking the truth to have faith that the bible is not a work of man but is actually totally conceived by inspiration of God and therefore all true. We are passionate about seeing the word of God be the guiding light and the powerful weapon for the body of Christ that it was always intended to be. We desire for all the saints to take the whole counsel of scripture when forming an understanding to apply in our lives and believe that all of us need to take the noble Berean attitude and check that what we are taught is in agreement with scripture. We are great admirers of E-Sword and hope this site will also help the church wash itself in the word of God.

To us this is an act of worship to our loving God, who is all knowing and whose ways are well above ours, so we accept His words with meekness appreciating the greatness from whence they have come. After all, who are we to judge God's words by our own limited understanding, instead it bodes better for us if we can strive to obtain just a glimpse of the truth held within and appreciate the privilege of having access to God's word that He has generously granted for our use.

We believe that when you read and understand a scriptural truth you are then hearing directly from God, and that hearing from God can inspire a life changing faith.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17

In a church environment where sadly the authority of scripture is under sustained attack from without and within, having a genuine confidence in your understanding is required to negotiate the minefield of false teaching.

The bible does not talk about unity so much as it refers to believers as being of "one mind" that describes a unity in one truth, yet currently throughout the western church the varied interpretations of scripture is a source of division.

And no longer am I in the world, yet these are in the world; and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, those whom You gave to Me, that they may be one as We are.

John 17:11

The one mind that God desires is a unity in the one truth, not just an agreement to avoid arguments over doctrine, this is really just giving up on the call to "be one as We are" and settling for the much poorer state of relative truth where we just agree to disagree.

Sanctify them in Your Truth; Your Word is Truth. As You have sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world, and I sanctify Myself for them, that they also may be sanctified in Truth. And I do not pray concerning these only, but also concerning those who will believe in Me through their word; that all may be one, as You are in Me, Father, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me

John 17:17-21

We believe that much of the disunity can be avoided by applying a holistic approach to scripture that allows scripture to speak by letting the unity of scripture chisel out the true understanding and expose any false or incomplete understanding. Of course we must be submitted to the authority of scripture for this to work.

We also believe that a church that rightly divides the word of God and meekly walks in it will again experience the love, truth, power and unity of the Holy Spirit that we all desire.
